The Luma Collection are four designs by Courtney Kelley and Kate Gagnon Osborn from Kelbourne Woolens that travel effortlessly from beach to boardwalk; these are essential pieces you will want to turn to again and again. Designed using the unique fibre blend of Luma from The Fibre Co. in mind, they are light, feminine, and seasonless.

PATTERN DETAILS
Yarn: The Fibre Co. Luma - Blanca, 6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins.
Knitting Needles:
1 – 40cm (16”) 3mm (US 3) circular.
1 – 90cm (36”) 3mm (US 3) circular.
1 – 90cm (36”) 3.75mm (US 5) circular.
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle.
Gauge: 20 sts + 28 rows = 10cm (4”) in Reverse St st, after blocking. Cable Panel = 12.75cm (5”) wide.
Size: 101.5 (111.75, 122, 132, 142.25, 152.5, 162.5, 172.75) cm / 40 (44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68)” bust. The sweater is designed to be worn with 8” (20 cm) of positive ease.

Luma does a fantastic job of filling in a hold previously left by Savannah in The Fibre Co. lineup! Coming up with a new yarn is a long process, and when the possibility of sourcing organic cotton came up, Daphne, the founder and owner of The Fibre Co. was delighted, and so it has been used in a slightly higher percentage. Soya fibre was used in Savannah; this has now been replaced with silk which is far more luxurious. The spin of the yarn is also different, making Luma much smoother, a cleaner spin and ply, and the resulting 2-ply has a crisp, clean hand.
