Smooth Move [Stephen West] - - Knitting Pattern - Westknits

Smooth Move by Stephen West

A simple garter stitch shawl which comprises of three sections that grow from short rows and increases. Chose to knit in either a DK yarn and combine three neutral colours for a gradient effect or opt for the fingering weight version that uses six colours that are striped in each short row section. An I-cord border finishes off the shawl beautifully and gives that extra pop of colour!

The size of your shawl is determined by your chosen yarn weight. Small is knit in a fingering weight, while the large shawl in a DK. We love Martin's Lab Bouncy Merino for the fingering weight version and Amano Puna Eco for the DK version.
