BENNETT CREEK BY KATE GAGNON OSBORN

Bennett Creek is a cropped cable sweater. It looks great styled with jeans or paired with a dress or tunic for an easy relaxed look. Knit in Luma from The Fibre Co. it's the perfect for wearing all seasons.

Worked in pieces from the bottom up and then seamed. The back and sleeves are worked in reverse stockinette stitch, and the front is worked in reverse stockinette stitch with a large cable pattern up the centre front. The front is designed to be 5cm shorter than the back.

Yarn: The Fibre Co. Luma (50% merino wool, 25% organic cotton, 15% linen, 10% silk; 137 yds/50gm): Blanca, 6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins. 
Knitting Needles: 
1 – 40cm (16”) 3mm (US 3) circular.
1 – 90cm (36”) 3mm (US 3) circular.
1 – 90cm (36”) 3.75mm (US 5) circular.
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle.

Gauge: 20 sts + 28 rows = 10cm (4”) in Reverse St st, after blocking. Cable Panel = 12.75cm (5”) wide.
Size: 101.5 (111.75, 122, 132, 142.25, 152.5, 162.5, 172.75) cm / 40 (44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68)”  bust. The sweater is designed to be worn with 8” (20 cm) of positive ease. 
Knitting Knowledge: Cables from charts, seaming, picking up stitches.
