Douglas Cardi by Andrea Mowry Knitis a grandpa-style cardigan complete with stripes, big pockets, and a relaxed fit. The body of the cardigan is worked in stocking stitch in one piece from the bottom up. A three-needle cast-off is used to join and cast off the shoulders. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and afterthought pockets are worked on both sides of the cardigan. Finally, the button band is knit and sewn in place using mattress stitch.

The sample was knit in Tukuwool DK and is shown in Auri, Repo, Rohto, Ujo and Selja.
