Free your Fade will soon become your favourite shawl pattern! Relaxing garter stitch with engaging eyelet rows and endless colour possibilities. Knit in one colour or use twenty, it really is up to you! The pattern includes easy instructions to add as many fade sections as you would like!
The shawl is lightweight and perfect year round when worked up in fingering weight yarn, but don’t let that stop you from knitting it up in any yarn weight you prefer to the size of your choosing!
Yarn: Fingering Weight / Sock Yarn: the sample was knit in three colours; Colour A: 200 yds/ 50 g; Colour B: 400 yds/ 100 g; Colour C: 400 yds/ 100 g
Knitting Needles: 3.5mm / US 4 80cm circular recommended
Notions: stitch markers and a tapestry needle
Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm / 4", after blocking in garter stitch
Finished Measurements: Wingspan – 84”/213 cm, Centre depth – 19”/49 cm
