Hansel by Gundrun Johnston
Hansel is a traditional hap shawl by designer Gundrun Johnston.
This printed pattern includes instructions to knit both a half and full sized hap.
Size - half hap - approx 54 ¾ inches wide & 28 ½ inches in depth; full hap- approx 54 ¾ inches square
Needles - 5mm / US 8 circular needles 60cm & 80cm
Yarn - Fingering weight yarn in the following amounts:
550 yards of MC, 82 yards of CC1, 82 yards of CC2, 66 yards of CC3 and 66 yards of CC4

Full hap - Shade 27 (MC), Shade 4 (CC1), Shade FC12 (CC2), Shade 29 (CC3), Shade 121 (CC4)

Gauge - 17 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
