Yarnadelic Worsted
Yarnadelic Worsted is all set to be a favourite yarn for autumn/winter knits!
Just like her little sister Yarnadelic Sport this fabulous yarn is spun from 100% Falklands Corriedale. The breed is around 100 years old and was derived by crossing the Merino and Lincoln Longwool. Its properties are a perfect balance of delightful softness and bounce from the Merino combined with the slight lustre and long staple length of the Lincoln Longwool – a fibre lover's dream!
By giving this yarn a rounded 3-fold structure, John Arbon has enhanced the fibre's natural stitch definition and drape, creating the ideal yarn for everything from cables to lace and garments to accessories.
They have farmed in the Falkland Islands – ensuring that the animals have been treated with the utmost care and are free from harmful mulesing. The fibre has been dyed in the UK and lovingly prepared, blended and spun at John Arbon's North Devon Mill.
