mYak Baby Yak Lace
mYak Baby Lace is a luxury yarn made from baby yak down, which has a similar micron count to cashmere. The yarn is created by twisting two plies to create a delicate lace-weight yarn perfect for lacy shawls and accessories. It is also warm, lustrous, lightweight, and breathable, making it suitable for all seasons.
The natural down colour yields three natural shades of chocolate, desert, and oatmeal, which are then dyed to create mYak's palette of soft colours. The company only dyes naturally, without bleaching or decolourising, so each colour will vary from season to season, depending on the shade of the natural fibres. This makes working with natural fibres beautiful, but it also means that the shade of the sample you see photographed might not always correspond to the shade they have in stock.
