Designed for Rosy Green Wool's Cheeky Merino JoyDeleite combines a relaxed knitting experience with a feminine, modern look that gives you plenty of freedom. Its unusual shape, with wide low-cut sleeves and a slightly longer back, envelops you comfortably. The long, tight cuffs in different colours and the delicate stripes of the yoke create exciting contrasts to the overall soft flow.
The design in stocking stitch is easy to knit but uses some interesting techniques. It is knitted seamlessly from the top down in rounds. The neckline is worked with a provisional cast-on to create a double rib hem, and then the yoke is shaped with the help of increases. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is being knitted and are continued later. Short rows create a gentle curve at the front neckline and lower hem of the back.
