Whispering Breeze [Knitting Pattern - PDF]

Designed for Rosy Green Wool's Cheeky Merino Joy Whispering Breeze is a modern sweater pattern with three-quarter sleeves and a flattering boat neckline. Jagged stripes add a unique twist, reminiscent of sound waves, bringing a fresh look to a classic shape.

Starting from the top, you first knit the front and back yoke separately shaping the shoulders with Japanese short rows. The body knitted in the round is given stability
and a beautiful drape by crocheted false seams on the inside, which also conceal the offset of the stripes. After closing the shoulder seams with a mattress stitch, you pick up stitches for the sleeves around the armholes. The length of both the sleeves and the body can be adjusted to your preferences (more yarn will be required)
