Amano Samay is a luxuriously soft cotton and bamboo blend inspired by the beauty of the great outdoors. Its name comes from Quechua, the native language of the Incas, and means "resting."
Crafted from a premium blend of bamboo viscose and Pima cotton, this yarn offers an ultra-soft touch, breathability, and durability. Bamboo fibre is gentle on the skin and eco-friendly, making it a sustainable option for mindful crafters.
Samay’s flexible gauge allows you to customise your projects effortlessly. Use smaller needles for a 4-ply gauge to create delicate, lightweight fabrics or larger needles for a DK gauge for a slightly thicker, cosier feel. Whether you're knitting or crocheting, Samay is a joy to work with!

- Tangled Yarn is now signed up for IOSS, collecting and remitting import VAT on your behalf. This means that VAT on orders under €150 will be paid by Tangled Yarn (not by you upon delivery). We offer a 30-day return window from the date of purchase. If you want to return or exchange an item, please ensure it is in its original condition and packaging. To request a returns label, please email us at enquiries@tangled-yarn.co.uk and include the reason for your return or exchange.
All return and exchange requests will be reviewed before approval. A £3.95 charge applies to the returns label, which will be deducted from your final refund. For exchanges, this charge also covers the postage for your exchanged items.
