Base Doodle Fingerless Mitts 2 by Pacific Knit Co. is a quick, satisfying pattern that gives you plenty of room to play with colourwork, texture and your favourite Doodle motifs.

This is a printed brochure of the Base Doodle Fingerless Mitts 2 pattern only. Colourwork charts are not included and can be added separately using any compatible Pacific Knit Co. Doodle Deck.

Part of the Pacific Knit Co. Doodle system, this simple base pattern provides an easy framework for creating your own customised fingerless mitts. Mix and match motifs, experiment with different colour combinations or keep them plain for a simple everyday pair.

The mitts are worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with the cuff. Optional colourwork is worked to the base of the thumb, followed by a thumb gusset which is placed on waste yarn while the top of the mitt is completed. The thumb stitches are then picked up and finished.

Because Doodle motifs are designed to work across the Pacific Knit Co. pattern range, you can use charts from any compatible Doodle Deck and create a completely different pair each time.

Approximate finished circumference:

• 15 (20, 25) cm
• 6 (8, 10) in

Yarn

Use any DK, light worsted or sport weight yarn that gives the correct gauge. Doodle patterns are ideal for using leftover yarn, advent minis and smaller quantities from your stash.

Needles

• 3.75mm / US 5, or size needed to achieve gauge
• One size smaller for ribbing, if preferred
• 20cm / 8in circular needles, magic loop or DPNs

Gauge

• 24 sts and 24 rnds = 10 cm / 4 in
