Tamdou is by designer Melanie Berg for The Fibre Company; it's been worked in their beautiful Cumbria Fingering yarn.
A cosy asymmetrically shawl, Tamdou makes the most of three skeins of Cumbria Fingering with garter stitch stripes interspersed lace and finished off with a picot edge.
The sample is shown knitted in the colour Hadrian's Wall, Scarfell Pike and Helvellyn

MEASUREMENTS: 280cm (110”) wingspan along top edge and 60cm (23.5”) width
YARN: The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% brown masham wool, 10% mohair; 300m (328yds) per 100g skein); one each of Hadrian’s Wall (colour A), Scafell Pike (colour B) and Helvellyn (colour C).
NEEDLES: 3.5mm (US 4) circular needles or size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE/TENSION: 9 sts x 19 rows = 5cm (2“) x 5cm (2“) in garter stitch on size 3.5mm (US4) needles, blocked.
