Delivery & Returns


For orders under £75 - £3.95 

We use Royal Mail’s Tracked service for all our standard UK & CI orders.

When your order’s been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Your parcel will be with you in 3-5 working days (although it can take a little longer at busy times).


All international orders are sent airmail.

The shipping charge is based on the weight of your order. All international parcels are sent tracked.

Orders to Europe usually arrive within five to ten working days however can take longer at the moment.

Orders to the rest of the world typically take between ten and 15 working days however can take longer, customs can slow things down a little.

Tangled Yarn is now signed up for IOSS, collecting and remitting import VAT on your behalf. This means that VAT on orders under €150 will be paid by Tangled Yarn (not by you upon delivery). Please note that these new rules do not apply to orders over €150 and that parcels from the UK may still attract customs and handling charges, based on the practices/policies of your own countries authorities.

Customers outside the UK and the EU may be liable for taxes, duties and import fees. As the buyer you are responsible for these charges and they are usually requested prior to delivery by the postal service in your country.

I want you to love your purchase from Tangled Yarn. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the item within 30 days of receiving it for an exchange or refund. All returns must be agreed beforehand, please email us at rachel(at) let us know the reason for your return and your order number.

  • The item must be in a saleable condition which means they must have been kept in a smoke-free environment and yarn must have the ball bands intact unused condition.
  • We will refund you the cost of the returned item excluding the original postage. You are responsible for the cost of returning unless your item is faulty or received in error.
  • Should you prefer an exchange, there will be an additional postage charge.
  • Please note that needles, crochet hooks, patterns, magazines and books are not returnable unless they are faulty.
  • Sale items are non-returnable unless faulty or we have been sent in error.

If the items have a retail value of more than £20.00 you will need to use a Royal Mail service that includes additional insurance to cover your goods should they go missing on route to us.
