Snefnug means “snowflake” in Danish. A beautiful Aran weight yarn from CaMaRose, Snefnug has a cotton mesh tube as the core with a luscious blend of merino and baby alpaca blown into it, making it hard-wearing but super soft, light and airy.

Snefnug is perfect for baby and children’s knits, as well as oversized adult knits such as sweaters, cardigans, scarves, and beanies, knit on a looser gauge on big needles.

Fibre: 55% baby alpaca, 10% extra fine merino wool, 35% cotton
Length: 110m (120 yds) / 50g ball

Care: handwash^

^Handwashing the finished project is recommended. Use a wool detergent and lay flat to dry. Machine washing can shrink the finished project by 7%, but it will stretch in use.

It is also recommended to knit ribbing a bit tighter as these will stretch in use.
