Noro Madara is a beautifully textured aran to bulky weight yarn that combines luxury fibres with striking colour detail. Spun with a strong, tight twist, it knits up into warm, durable garments while still feeling soft and indulgent in the hand.

A blend of wool, silk and alpaca gives Madara its unique balance of structure, warmth and gentle sheen. The silk adds subtle lustre, the alpaca brings softness, and the wool provides strength and resilience making this yarn ideal for sweaters, cardigans, accessories and cosy winter knits.

Madara is dyed in rich semi-solid shades with contrasting flecks, creating a beautifully mottled effect throughout the fabric. The name Madara means “uneven” in Japanese, perfectly reflecting the yarn’s character and visual depth.
