The Sock Obsession by Summer Lee

    2 items left

From sock-knitting sensation Summer Lee, author of the much-loved The Sock Project, comes a joyful new collection celebrating socks in every shape, size and colour imaginable.

The Sock Obsession is a vibrant, technique-packed book featuring 25 patterns that showcase Summer’s signature love of bold, neon brights and playful design. Inside, you’ll find everything from cosy boot socks and classic ankle socks to loafer styles and statement cuffs — all designed to be as fun to knit as they are to wear.

Explore a wide range of techniques, including:

    • Cables

    • Colourwork

    • Ribbing

    • Textured stitches

Each pattern is clearly written and easy to follow, with plenty of scope to customise colours and details to create dozens of unique variations.

The collection moves from traditional Scandinavian and European-inspired designs to bold, modern styles (think gallery-worthy knits), alongside whimsical motifs featuring mushrooms, sheep and even lobsters. There’s truly something here for every mood and skill level.

Socks remain a perennial favourite for good reason: they’re satisfyingly quick to knit, require relatively small amounts of yarn, and are endlessly customisable for the perfect fit. The patterns are thoughtfully arranged so newer knitters can build confidence as they go, while more experienced sock knitters can jump straight into the designs that spark the most excitement.

If you’re ready to fall a little deeper in love with sock knitting, this collection might just live up to its name.
