Summer Shawl KAL Roundup!

September 01, 2015

All good things must come to an end and sadly it is the case with our Summer Shawl Knitalong! But what an exciting and engaging knitalong this has been, with 47 Pwani shawl's cast on throughout August in Mabel & Ivy Coast! I've for one have really enjoyed watching everyone's progress and the finished shawls are simply stunning!

I just wanted to pay homage to a few of those shawls that have been finished and to say thank you to everyone that joined in!

If you are inspired to cast on your own Pwani, then there are still some Pwani Shawl Kits available or you many fancy choosing your own colours of Coast. You'll need 60g for the main colour and 10g each for the contrasting lace stripes in four colours.

As with all the Tangled Yarn KAL's hosted in our Ravelry group we select at random one finished shawl as a winner, the prize is a £25 gift card to spend online. Congratulations to Janine, very well deserved! And a huge thank you to everyone who took part and made this knitalong the best one yet!
