I'm very excited by the arrival of our latest knitting yarn, Tough Love Sock by SweetGeorgia Yarns.
A Canadian company, SweetGeorgia Yarns was started by Felicia Lo at home in her dining room in 2005. It has since grown to become a yarn company recognised for luxury fibre and unapologetic colour! And boy the colours are simply magnificent!
Hand-dyed in small batches, every skein is bursting with colour that will just brighten up your day! We stock both semi-solid colours and variegated colour-ways, that have been kettle dyed and then hand-painted.
A blend of 80% superwash, superfine merino wool and 20% nylon; Tough Love Sock is tough enough to stand up to socks by knitting on a firm gauge, but equally good for drapey shawls, just go up a needle size and knit more loosely. Spun using three individual plies of yarn, makes Tough Love Sock ideal for finer gauge sweaters.
