Traditionally we say goodbye to the previous year in January and welcome the year ahead with all the possibilities it has in store for us and oh boy do I have some knitting delights planned for Tangled Yarn.
Well, I've some exciting new yarns arriving over the next few months from both existing vendors and new ones, and I will share those as and when they happen. I've already added Blue Sky Fibers and Amano Yarns to our fantastic list of yarn companies, and I will share more of their yarns with you over the coming months.
Planning for warmer knits I’ve got some great yarns that shout out spring and summer which contain linen, silk and cotton. There is also new shades of Erika Knight Studio Linen and Gossypium Cotton that are to drool over arriving very soon.
There are new colours of some of your old favourites including Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and Louisa Harding Pittura coming very soon. You may have already seen the new colours I've added in Malabrigo Mechita which are simply stunning; they are more semi-solid shades with work beautifully when combined with the variegated colours. One of the new colours is Cirrus Grey, an ink blue that runs through to a dark grey that works incredibly well with the existing colour palette. Malabrigo has also introduced Frank Ochre to the Mechita, a warm sunny yellow that is ever-present across all their bases and is a welcomed addition to Mechita.
I’ve got some great new patterns arriving from knitwear designers including Drea Renée Knits, Joji and much more! As well as further editions of Making from Madder and Laine Magazine, both of which are simply stunning publications to inspire you to cast on your next knitting project.
But to do all of this sadly, we have to say goodbye to some old favourites including Malabrigo Lace, Erika Knight Maxi; it’s your last chance to get your hands on these knitting yarns.
I hope you are as excited as I am with what 2017 has in store for us.
