    Get ready for a comfortable and relaxing knitting experience with the Sakina hat, which boasts charisma and beautiful details. The two-colour Brioche pattern, with its typical effect, adds more cosy volume to Rosy Green's Lovely Merino Treat and allows you to experiment with stunning contrasts. You can find your individual colour balance for the irresistible vertical stripes and enjoy the soft and squishy texture between your fingers. Sakina is the perfect way to get started with this wonderful technique.

    The sample is shown knit in Cedar and Haze. 

    Size:  S [M, L] to fit head circumferences of 46-51 [51-56, 56-61] cm (18-20 [20-22, 22-24] in).
    Yarn: Rosy Green Wool – Lovely Merino Treat (100% softest organic Merino) 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g in colours Cedar (A) (1 skein, 59 g), Olive (B) (1 skein, 84 g), and Haze (C) (1 skein, 69 g).
    Needles: 3.25 mm (US 3) and 4 mm (US 6) in 40 cm (16 in) circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
    Notions: stitch markers, a darning needle and a cable needle
    Gauge: 19 sts x 28 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) over Brioche St with 3.25 mm needles after blocking
