Laine Nordic Knit Life No. Five

The summer issue of Laine Magazine has arrived! This is the fifth issue of this beautifully curated Nordic knit & lifestyle magazine.

Beautifully photographed in Lisbon, Portugal Laine is more than your average knitting magazine. It evokes a sense of curiosity that makes you want to explore not only your knitting with designs that you'll instantly want to cast on, but there's a travel guide of Edinburgh and recipes to tantalise your taste buds.

Laine Magazine No. 5 includes ten knitting patterns from a host of designers Sachiko Burgin, Bérangère Cailliau, Thea Colman, Sus Gepard, Marie Greene, Jonna Hietala, Clare Mountain, Susanne Sommer, Lene Tøsti and Veera Välimäki. 



Other contributions come from Nathan Critchlow of Twisted Fintch who shares his story and love for knitting and hand-dyeing. Ysolda Teague is also featured, with a portrait of her life in knitwear design. There's a Q&A with Vânia O. of Two Hands Textile Studio and an interview with Rosa Pomar, the Portuguese owner of Retrosaria, a yarn store located in central Lisborn.
